the MINI project ------->>> the white album

& we are BACK with the 5th edition of the MINI project!!! Not sure what the MINI is? Here's a quick little intro ---

 Well, Its allllllll about the MINI parts of fashion - the ACCESSORIES...which can also play a huge role in our everyday outfits. Just like clothes, accessories are also worn differently by each person depending on their style, shape, look etc. 

So the MINI project focuses only on accessories....but I don't mean just jewelry - tights, hats, sunglasses, headbands, bows, scarfs, shoes, belts, gloves are alllll accessories as well. Like always -

& this month is an EXTRA Special MINI project because the accessory that we have today is from the Small Business - Mila Rose Designs. 

It is so great that the MINI project is able to work & support a small business like MRD & I am so excited to show you what the fabulous Melis put together for our MINI project!! 

The MRD Fluff 

This fluff was specially made for the MINI project by the owner & designer Melis





SO of course I could put this headband in my hair....but we have alllllll seen that way too many times around here & since the point of the MINI is to step outside of the box & try something new, that's what im gonna do!




SO today I am going to show you something else you can do with this headband, which will be helpful to those who think they can't 'rock' headbands like this.

so as you can see I just took a simple straw hat and put the headband around it to add some flare to the hat. I really love the way the fluff looks on the hat and the colors are so pretty and fresh. I decided to wear all white since its summer time and it just felt right. I wanted this look to be easy, breezy so a simple white tank and white linen pants with some simple gladiators and you're good to go.

& I added some simple gold jewelry, along with some beaded bracelets to complete to outfit. I just love the way gold looks on white. It has such a summer feel to it.
