& we're back with another edition of the MINI project...not sure what the MINI is.....here's a quick intro ---
SO this month while I was browsing around looking for the perfect item I came across something that I just couldn't pass up....& i know you'll all be obsessed too...
how freaking adorable are these pleated polka dot silky shorts with pockets!??!

What I really loved about these shorts was how versatile they can be. There are so many different looks you can do with these shorts...the possibilities are endless. They're the perfect summer short because you can dress them up....and you can also dress them down.
I decided to go with a casual summer day time outfit with a pop of color ---

so as you can see I added a yellow tank to brighten up the look. Since the tank is more loose I tucked it in and added a beige lace bra....& since its summer time I was able to bring out my favorite pair of Tory Burch flats, which went perfectly with the white dots.

SO i am in LOVE with the pockets. They add such a fun edition to the shorts. I chose to keep it simple with my classic silver jewelry & for those cool summer nights, I just added a light jean jacket to complete the look.
So what do you think of the yellow with the blue? Would you pair a jean jacket with them? How would you have styled the shorts, I would LOVE to know!
