first - let me start off by saying  

 Seriously I could never have gotten to 1,000 followers & so quickly without your guys! When I started my blog in February I never thought it would turn into something like this - the movement to embrace the mess. I never thought I would meet so many fabulous girls & create special connections with some of them...when I started the blog, I really had no idea what I was doing - i felt like I was thrown into this brand new world & i remember feeling lost - I just wanted to say a special THANK YOU to Sarah at Coming Unstitched. She was one of the very first bloggers I followed, along with these 2 blogs HERE & HERE...& every time I had a question about anything I would email her & she ALWAYS got right back to me with the answer. She really helped me when I was just starting, so thank you Sarah & THANK YOU everyone else for your continuous support....as a thank you for everything I will holding a HUGE giveaway next week - so keep your eyes & ears open!  ok so its not secret I have messy hair...it can really get beastly & even start turning into dreads if I leave it dirty long enough...so I wasn't too surprised when I was contact by Misikko, Hana Salon to try out their CHI Straightener....I am the perfect candidate to test how well a hair straightener really straightens your hair. However, its just not all about having straight hair. Since I have SUPER thick hair I am very particular with the way the tool will glide on my hair & if it pulls out any hairs while straightening.... 

  So imagine my surprise when I got the box & opened it thinking I was getting just a CHI Straightener  

there was A LOT more than just a straightener in that box - my favorite thing about it - the way it was presented...the packaging & the ribbons were adorable. Everything was wrapped so cute & girly. I loved it. Presentation is a huge factor for me as well. I think it shows how much a company really cares about their product. Even better was that the CHI Straightener came with a heating pad to place the flat iron on when you're using it along with a little pouch to keep your CHI Straightener in when you travel! Never once in the past when I had purchased a hair straightener did I ever get a heating pad & carry case...& the straighteners I've bought in the past were pretty $$$ too...so this was exciting!   I wanted to make sure my hair was in full blast messiness before I tried out the CHI Straightener ----  oh yes look at the back...a complete mess! so i knew this was the perfect time to try the CHI Straightener from Misikko, Hana Salon - - So when I straighten my hair I do it in rows - i have too. I just have way too much hair not too. So I put up all my hair on top of my head with a clip and started with the bottom 

 The VERY first strand I straightened I could already see a difference. However, what I liked was that the CHI Straightener glided so nicely on my hair. It didn't get stuck & cause my hair to get all tangled. It was a smooth glide over the strands of my hair. The CHI Straightener didn't pull at any of my hairs - it was as smooth & silky as it could be. Also what I noticed was I didn't have to keep going over the same strand of hair to get it straight. One or two times tops & it was straight. That defiantly saved me time.  Even better it has different levels of heat you can turn it too depending on how hot you want it - since my hair is a beast I had it on the hottest it could be - 450....So have you ever straightened your hair & literally could hear & feel the straightener burning your hair? Well the CHI Straightener doesn't do that. Even on the highest heat possible it did not burn my hair. Nothing was sizzling.  I also liked how it was thin & light weight. I've used hair straighteners in the past that have been really heavy & to be honest gave my arm an workout when using them. The CHI Straightener is skinny & small & doesn't cause your arm to get tired.   Soooo are you ready to see the final product?  

 

  You can see I missed one strand of wave in the back - its really hard for me to get every piece, I really do have too much hair. Buttttt overall the CHI Straightener from Misikko, Hana Salon was FABULOUS! Not only did it get my hair straight, but it left it feeling SO soft & silky. The CHI Straightener did a great job of going

 and in less than 30 minutes!!! Usually it takes about 45 minutes to REALLY straighten my hair, but because of the level of heat & the iron itself I saved time & still got my super straight hair. I really enjoyed all the products Misikko, Hana Salon sent me & I would recommend them to anyone...even my super amazing hair stylist. The CHI Straightener left my hair feeling soft & silky...& it even stayed straight for a few days after...I didn't have to re-straighten.  So if you like to straighten your hair more often than not, I highly suggest investing in a CHI Straightener from Misikko, Hana Salon - not only will it get your hair straight, but it won't damage it in the process.
