hellllllo lovers!!!! so welcome back to round 3 of #TheMessyProject - if you're new around here & have yet to hear about #TheMessyProject you can check out alllll the information HERE ...but here's just a short & quick little intro to get you more acquainted with the project
so this months item was defiantly something I knew could be worn in so many different ways! I wouldn't call it a top though - its more of a tunic. So here's the tunic each of the girls were sent -
The tunic is very sheer & can button almost all the way down. There is a detachable collar as well. When I got home & tried on the top I realized I could wear it as a dress. It was just long enough! That is probably my favorite thing about buying tunics - sometimes they can have 2 purposes! I really loved the fun mixture of blues & greys in the top as well. Since we are venturing into fall I thought why not go with some darker colors.
I don't know why but when I tried it on I just got such a 60s vibe from it - so I decided to make my look more of a 60s go-go dancer theme--------> let me know what you thnk!
So as you can see since the top was super sheer I added just a simple black tank underneath. Then to make it more fall/winter appropriate I added black sheer tights.
My favorite thing about this tunic is the cute ruffles at the bottom. Gives it such a girly feel. Then I just added my grey clog like heels with a peep toe to go with my 60s/go-go dancer inspired theme.....& of course you need a high pony tail if you're going to be a go- go dancer!
I decided to keep the cute little collar on & just do some simple accessories. Diamond studs, a black cuff & top it off with classic big, dark sunglasses! So what do you think!? How would you have worn the tunic? Would you have tried it as a dress?
Sooooo you wanna see how the other 4 girls styled the top?! AND trust me they all did something COMPLETELY different - check them out ---->
