everybody has secrets

do you ever look up at the sky & wonder if someone you know is looking up at the sky at the same exact time as you? or why some places put oranges in your ice tea instead of lemons? or how about the days when you have absolutely nothing to do but yet you're having the best hair day ever? or i know, i know those days when you actually have money to spend at the mall & can't find anything & the days you have no money everywhere you look you see something cute?!?!?!?! 

i know, you're probably thinking okay Kelly those are some totally random thoughts....but that's okay because today is the very first day of Random Wednesday hosted by Shanna of Because Shanna Said So....& today anything goes! 

so in honor of Shanna's new linkup & it being an anything goes type of day I thought I would take advantage of the randomness & share a little random secret about myself......

this is something that I have had to deal with since I can remember...so like forever. I hate it. It's gross. I'm embarrassed of it......& really as I write this I don't know why I'm telling you this but......

I have sweaty hands. 

& no I don't mean your occasional it's hot out & my hands are sweating a little......& no I don't mean 'omg I'm nervous & my hands are sweating'....


I mean full blown, water dripping, slippy slimy, puddle making sweaty hands.
I know. Disgusting.

Of course I have looked into getting it fixed but do you want to hear the awful procedure of fixing the sweat!?....well they take a ton of little needles & shoot your veins with botox to stop the sweat. I hear it is SO painful...so yeah i'll be skipping thatso I have been living with it forever & I guess will always be.....& you might not realize how much of an effect sweaty hands can have on your life. Let me just clue you in on a few of the downsides of sweaty hands

You can't high five - Because most of the time the sweat will bounce off of the high five & land somewhere on someone's skin 

You can't hand shake - Because when you shake hands - the hand shook will be all wet & slimy causing them to look at their hand with a look of disgust, look at you with a look of 'what the hell is on your hands' & then continue to wipe their hands on their pants while asking why are your hands all wet causing complete & utter embarrassment for you....& seriously people this happens all the time. Hence why I hate 'hand shaking' & 'high fiving'  

Writing on paper is hard - When you go to write, at least with me, the hand holding the pen - part of it is touching the paper, so while I am writing, the constant pressure of my hand on the paper to turn wet & soggy and then eventually rip. You have no idea how many times this would happen to me in school with tests....especially 'scantron' tests. I would have to let my test air dry before handing it in I was so embarrassed

.You have to carry around a mini wash cloth - Well you don't have too but I do because it is so uncomfortable to be anywhere & just have your hands start sweating .....the sweat is literally dripping off your hands making a puddle...I mean what are you suppose to do?! So I take out my mini wash cloth & hold it & let it absorb all the sweat. Really though, it doesn't last long. The sweat comes back.....

It always comes back. 

ok i think that is enough randomness for today. I think we have all heard enough about my sweaty hands.....I hope I didn't gross you out too much......but don't we all feel a little bit more closer now?
