No buyers remorse here!

Happy Monday lovers! so I am finally feeling better!!!! wahoo! I know it seems like I have been sick forever...but thank god it's going away,  I hate being sick. So just a little weekend update ---->  we finally got some cold weather. It was actually the perfect crisp fall day, with a nice breeze. I took advantage of the weather & went to the beach with Maxx - he LOVES the beach.....duh just like his mommy. 

He doesn't go in the water but he sure does love chasing the waves. As I was walking on the beach while Maxx was running around as happy as could be I just smiled because I felt so blessed to live where I do. Plus to make this weekend even better my sister came home! I was so excited & happy to see her. I mean she only lives like 45 minutes away but we are both so busy that we don't get to see each other much so it was such a great surprise! 

so of course when she came we went SHOPPING!!!!! With my mom too! It was the perfect mother daughter shopping weekend that we haven't been able to do in awhile. We had lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe, my favorite......& side note for anyone who loves tomato soup & hasn't tried the Nordstrom Cafe bistro tomato soup you are seriously missing out! It is aaamazing & I promise you will be obsessed! Then we shopped around for awhile....Ash was on a mission to find tall black boots. Of course i recommended my favorite Steve Madden....we spent hours in the Victoria Secret PINK store...& of course we both fell in love with the same shirt, so we bough the same shirt & now we're twinsies.....no joke people mistake us for twins alllllll the time.....& then I politely let them know I am in fact am older....even though they never believe me

& then of course we went in more stores...& I bought a new Marc Jacobs purse........but in my defense it was on sale & it was that rare type of bag you NEVER see go on sale so I had to get it...ya know?...oh the things we tell ourselves to make our shopping issues seem okay......but really I have no buyers remorse... actually I never have buyers remorse....hehe ---> anyways overall it really was a great weekend & I miss my sister already!

 but another reason for our shopping adventure was I needed to shop for #TheMessyProject.....& boy am I excited for this months project!.......speaking of #TheMessyProject I have a little surprise for you all but first just a little back story on the project for anyone who is new to it. 

One of the main reasons I love fashion is because you can make it your own. Everyone can have the same exact clothes but the way you style & wear it, is your choice. It gives you a chance to express your inner 'fashonista.' A plain white tee can be looked at as boring & same ol’ same ol’ but think about all the different ways you can wear it. All the different accessories you can add to it. The layers of clothes you can put on it. So this plain white tee isn't so plain anymore. You've made it your own.  

I can look at a top & style it completely different than someone else would… & to me that’s cool....So I wanted to find a fun & different way to interact with other bloggers incorporating fashion, but not just for fashion bloggers. I wanted to do something to convey who we are. To show our personal style. To put our creative minds to work. To express our inner 'fashionista.'  To show people the different ways to style an item depending on your body type & you.....& I wanted it to be a challenge. 

So #TheMessyProject was born. 

#TheMessyProject is a monthly project in which 4 girls each month (5 including me)…will receive an item of clothing from me & the goal is to style the item however YOU would wear it. It may be a challenge, but that's the point. The fun thing about the project is; it's not just for fashion bloggers. Its for everyone. For everyone to come together & show their style.
