SO as you know I am a big fan of the local boutique in my town Lincoln Street Boutique! I know a lot of you follow them on instagram & you already see all the freaking adorable stuff they have! I recently got to try on all the new fall merchandise and let me just say I am in LOVE with everything!!!!

Now just because the boutique is in San Clemente, California doesn't mean you can't buy from there! You can shop online at their website or you can call the store & order right over the phone!

So since I am so in love with everything they have right now I wanted to showcase it all to you...so this week is alllllll about Lincoln Street Boutique!!

Everything in the pictures are from Lincoln Street Boutique except for the heels. They're Jeffrey Campbell. Pleather & Leopard is a really big trend right now and I love how fun it looks together! The skirt is not completely pleather. Its cotton with a pleather ruffle trim....i die!

We added a red hat to give the outfit an extra burst of color...& if you follow me on instagram you know I am OBSESSED with hats this season! They're the perfect accessory addition to an outfit & even better for those messy hair days!

the MINI project ------->>> the white album

& we are BACK with the 5th edition of the MINI project!!! Not sure what the MINI is? Here's a quick little intro ---

 Well, Its allllllll about the MINI parts of fashion - the ACCESSORIES...which can also play a huge role in our everyday outfits. Just like clothes, accessories are also worn differently by each person depending on their style, shape, look etc. 

So the MINI project focuses only on accessories....but I don't mean just jewelry - tights, hats, sunglasses, headbands, bows, scarfs, shoes, belts, gloves are alllll accessories as well. Like always -

SO of course I could put this headband in my hair....but we have alllllll seen that way too many times around here & since the point of the MINI is to step outside of the box & try something new, that's what im gonna do!




SO today I am going to show you something else you can do with this headband, which will be helpful to those who think they can't 'rock' headbands like this.

so as you can see I just took a simple straw hat and put the headband around it to add some flare to the hat. I really love the way the fluff looks on the hat and the colors are so pretty and fresh. I decided to wear all white since its summer time and it just felt right. I wanted this look to be easy, breezy so a simple white tank and white linen pants with some simple gladiators and you're good to go.

& I added some simple gold jewelry, along with some beaded bracelets to complete to outfit. I just love the way gold looks on white. It has such a summer feel to it.

the MINI project - CUFFS

it's that timeeeee againnnnn

Welcome back to the 3rd edition of the MINI project!!! Since the MINI is still newer here's a little backstory on the project ---

New logo coming next month!! 

Well its allllllll about the mini parts of fashion - the ACCESSORIES...which can also play a huge role in our everyday outfits. Just like clothes, accessories are also worn differently by each person depending on their style, shape, look etc. So the MINI project will focus only on accessories....but I don't mean just jewelry - tights, hats, sunglasses, headbands, bows, scarfs, shoes, belts, gloves are alllll accessories as well. Like before -

so this round I wanted to try out another trend that I have been seeing a lot of...and a trend I have yet to try. So I decided to go with a 'Cuff' Necklace as the stores are calling it...& basically it is exactly like a cuff you would wear on your wrist, but just on your neck....& i chose to pick a pretty bright color instead of the usual gold or silver. 

So I was thinking of different ways you can wear this necklace and I wanted to show you what it would look like it you wore it with a collared shirt for a more conservative look.


At the office or other work places you may not be able to wear a scoop or V-neck tee so you need to think of other options as to how to style your necklace. 

So I decided to use this necklace with a professional look, one that would be acceptable in a work place. 

so as you can see I have a collared shirt on that covers me up to be work appropriate. I buttoned the shirt all the way and I placed the necklace outside of the shirt, under the collar....so just a little bit shows in the front for a subtle yet chic look. 

So you can see that even if you have to be all covered up for any reason you can still accessorize, look conservative and chic at the same time.

i can see your bra

The Deal1 Accessory4 Girls4 Different Styles1 Major Blog Dayso this time I upped the game a little bit....i wanted to get something fun & fresh. Since summer is almost here I wanted to get something that was full of bright colors & was perfect for when summer time comes around....so I got these fun, floral black leggings! 

this was my first time trying the floral pants trend so I was excited to try them out & see how much i like them. I chose to get the leggings rather than floral pants. Leggings to me are just more comfortable. And I chose to get the leggings in black rather than a bright color because I felt the black was more practical yet still fun & trendy....plus how beautiful are the colors in these leggings....its like summer colors all packed into one...here's what i did -----

so I really love the coral color in the leggings but since the majority of the colors are coral I decided not to pair them with a coral top. Instead I chose to accent the touches of green leaves you see throughout the pants. 

So I added a sheer lime green top..& chose to be a little risky & not add my typical black tank underneath, just a black lace bra.

The greens may not be exactly the same color but it still blends perfectly with the coral & other colors. 

i added my black open toed wooden platforms to go with the summer feel.....then at the last minute I wanted to do something different than I normally do with my hair so I added a straw hat...& the perfect summer bag to match. Since my theme for this outfit was summer...no summer outfit is complete without some sunglasses & beach waves.
