pink hair!

 hellooooo loves! the time has come...i know i have been teasing you about it all week so today ill reveal my new hair color! first let me tell you my hair stylist is beyond amazing...i showed her a picture of what I wanted & she literally did exactly that..i couldn't have asked for a better stylist & friend. If you have time check out Kelly my stylists blog & website. She is so talented & one of my favorite people to be around. Kelly has such a calming vibe when you're around her. She just makes me feel peaceful. She just went on maternity leave so she will be missed greatly but I am SO excited for her new chapter....but you better come back Kelly hehe

So this is the inspiration I gave her to work from - I wanted something different that I never tried before, but still keeping some blonde & not going completely dark...

These are the before pictures - as you remember my hair was pretty bleach blonde...i was so curious as to how this new hair process was going to happen...because it does involve different shades of color in different sections of your hair...

we cut off some hair too...i literally hate getting my hair cut..it had been over 2 years since the last cut

Soooo after about 4 hours the final product was done....& I'm sure you already can guess what color I did buttt here are the after pictures -

soo I'm pretty much obsessed....even better the color on top is probably the closest to my natural color its ever been!

Ok so I found this picture of my mom from when she was about 16-17 years old & it just reminded me of one of the photos I took to show off my hair...everybody thinks we look alike, however we both do not see it at all....What do you think?

so there you have it my new color! to be honest I think this is by far my favorite color I have ever been..so of course after I got my hair done & its all straight I like to have a photoshoot - so coming up within the next week or 2 ill be showcasing a professional shoot I had with some new fall items I purchased...

Also every time I get new clothes I always clean out my closet. It just makes me feel so much better about buying my new clothes....guilt trip anyone? So I usually give them to friends or my sister because I do take REALLY good care of my clothes so they're in great condition...however this time I thought I'd do something different...so I cleaned out my closet, my sister cleaned out hers & I went through my Moms vintage collection & put together some fabulous items that I am going to be selling within the next week or 2 on the blog - with brand names from Free People, Splendid, J Crew, Banana Republic & more...so keep your eyes peeled!

mullets & a challenge....

happy friday lovers!!!!  soooo i have a special challenge for you at the end of this post....but first things first-i

 So today I wanted to show you one of my new dresses that is very trendy right now. The funniest thing about this dress is I didn't even try it on when I saw it & normally I would never ever do that, especially when shopping at a boutique.....but the dress was just so freaking cute. The colors were perfect for spring, there was so much intricate detail & it was different than anything i had seen before...i was in love. The dress is from one of my favorite stores in San Clemente,CA - the Lincoln Street Boutique...& don't worry girls their website is in the process of being made & then you'll be able to go online & purchase from their site which is aaamazing for all my blogger lovers across the states because trust me you need to shop this store!

I've talked about it before but I'll say it again, i love this store. Not only are the prices very reasonable but she really takes her time & purchases stuff that is unique. There is always something for everyone in the store. Not to mention the displays are perfect & so inviting....Mendy is the owner & she is so fabulous & trendy. Of course because I'm in the store a lot she knows me & my style so when I went in to purchase my pink pants ONLY she just had to show me this dress that was perfect for me.

Well she was right because I love it & its not like anything else I have ever worn before....so let me know what you guys think

Embarcing the mess means no washing your hair in the shower with water, dry shampoo is okay {if you must}...even if its one day no washing you are still embracing the mess! & maybe, probably there will be a prize for whoever goes the longest...

PINK nation

Happy Monday loves! so i don't know about you but I'm a huge fan of the Victoria Secret PINK collection...i could live in that stuff....i don't know if you guys already know this or not but Victoria Secret is branching out a making PINK stores....that's right, just a store filled with only PINK merchandise!!!! I think I've died & gone to heaven! now i don't know if everywhere is getting PINK stores, this is just what's going on in California...so i thought I'd share with you some photos from the store & the beautiful way they merchandised everything, because to me presentation is everything.

 besides having these fun light ups around the store they also had a massive huge TV that filled up an entire wall....the picture wouldn't come out clear enough to show you but it was crazy...& on the TV were Victoria Secret photo shoots...bananas!

so juicy

happy Friday lovers!!! well its not my Friday, its my Thursday but still TGIF...so today is day 2 of my shopping excursion in Oahu, Hawaii

today i will be showing you the fabulous displays of Juicy Couture and one product in particular that i just died over...as Rachel Zoe would say, it was bananas!

i have been a juicy fan forever! when i first discovered juicy i literally felt the store was designed around me...everything from the princess look, to the gumballs in jars, to the pink & sparkly walls....i was in juicy heaven....i def have had my fair share of Juicy purses in all kinds of fun colors & for awhile I had every color sweatsuit, I'm telling you i was obsessed!

and then as usual i started to move on to something new...again i felt that juicy was becoming to young for my age & i started venturing into Tory Burch & Louis Vuitton....but that didn't mean i dismissed juicy completely like i did with Kate Spade.......Juicy Couture will always have a special place in  my heart so i continued to look online & shop the store...i got a few things here & there but there was nothing i was really excited about.......until now.

as usual the Juicy Couture store was freaking adorable with all their displays but what i was most excited about was the purses....but first a few pics from the store

how freaking cute is this little section!? what i loved was the painting of the women was wearing actual fake eyelashes...so freaking cool....but enough about the store, now onto my new MUST HAVE for this summer...

i mean how freaking fabulous is this clutch?! the colors are beyond amazing & perfect for summer...what i loved even more about it was even though it was a clutch it still had enough room to fit your daily essentials...there are actually 2 different zip pockets for all your stuff. The clutch is soft & doesn't feel uncomfortable under your arm...& the bow on the front just completes the look for me...i love bows, i think they're so fun & flirty....my favorite thing about a bag like this is, since I wear a lot of black its the perfect amount of pop to add a touch of color to my outfit
