Spring has official sprung! I love this time of year....love is the air, the days are longer, the weather starts to warm up, & all the new spring clothes come out! That is probably my favorite part - the new spring trends! 

There is SO much color this year...bright yellows and greens. Corals and blues. It all screams spring time! Besides new clothes, new jewelry trends come out as well. Again, a lot of pretty bright colors are being found in the necklaces and rings. Along with a lot of gold. I believe an outfit is not complete without some type of accessory. I don't think you should over wear accessories because remember less is always more,  but adding a little bling is always a good idea. 

While browsing the web I came across this great site  that has all this gorgeous jewelry & with so many different unique pieces. I was loving all the gold and the Birth Stone pieces they have. 

Its no secret I am obsessed with my birthday so I love wearing my birthstone in jewelry pieces. You can shop by your birthstone & they have every birthstone.

Since the dress is simple I would layer necklaces - { left to right } I chose this Emerald Bead necklace & would then layer it with the Emerald & White Sapphire Pendant w/ Chain with matching ring & then I loved this Elephant Link gold bracelet with emerald eyes. It was the perfect piece to complete the outfit. 

Even when you're having just a casual day hanging around the house or pool you can still accessorize.

since this look is more casual I didn't want to get too crazy with the accessories so I chose this simple silver chained "laugh" tag.  I love accessories that say stuff like love, hope, wish. Dont you? So I added these multi strand silver bracelets & I am obsessed with this sterling silver cross ring. And I completed the look with some adorable flower studs. 

so this next look is my favorite. Its perfect for a date night or a day wedding. I wanted the look to be very girly and summery, so I wanted the accessories I added to have the same feel.

I wanted to add this adorable flower statement necklace because of all the pretty colors so I kept the tank top a simple white. Then I added a simple thick gold bracelet...{ which has a cool magnetic clasp } to one wrist and on the other these fabulous hand painted multi colored bangles. And completed the look with a beautiful Citrine gem statement ring which is also the gem for Birthstone month November.  

And lastly I put together a perfect spring outfit for a more dresser occasion. When you have a more dresser look you can get a little bit more crazy with your accessories.

So of course I wanted to add a statement necklace to this simple black dress, so I chose this gold & turquoise bead necklace...I loved how it looks like there are spikes hanging from it, matching the look of the gladiators. Along with the gold bracelets from above I wanted to add this thick chain "Arpa Oro" bracelet for a bigger statement, along with a gold watch on the other wrist....& of course a gold statement ring. I really love the oval shape of that ring, its simple yet can be worn with anything. 

So as you can see adding a few statement pieces to your spring wardrobe is the perfect addition to your bright spring clothes.

im sweating yet the mall is selling sweaters?!

hellllo lovers! first off thank you so much to everyone who linked up yesterday for the 1st click a pic challenge! I really appreciate all the support! So today we're gonna forget that its summer & we're all dying of heat & talk about my favorite time of the year - FALL

But besides all of that i LOVE fall clothes...the sweaters, boots, scarfs, jackets...fall shopping is my favorite but its defiantly something that is hard to do while its 90 degrees out & you're shopping trying on sweaters & pants while sweat drips down your face....just me?...ok moving on...still, I will never understand why the stores find it necessary to start putting out fall clothes in July, it can be hard for people to get in the fall mindset...most are still buying swim suits & maxi dresses.....even weirder do you know they already are buying for Summer 2013?! Crazy right?!

According to Harpers Bazaar this fall 2012 you will see a lot of clothes "with a retro mix of florals & lace, knit tweeds & yes, shawls making the sartorial cut. Chic sportsmanship will be of importance as well, especially when channeling the great outdoors or reveling in the new take on military......fur accents & elegant embroidery. And a host of cool options in the way of black leather or all-white means there will definitely be something for everyone.  - via

So today I'm going to help you get into the fall mindset & give you a head start on what the trends are for this upcoming fall 2012 season. So let's get started!

The color that I am seeing everywhere for this year is Tangerine- its the hot color this fall so be sure to add something tangerine to your wardrobe this fall.

Polk-a-dots are another fun trend this fall...but not just in blouses, everywhere!

The colored pants trend is still in however the pants are transiting from bright neon colors to more deeper & darker colors, for example a dark red or dark purple.

Another trend I am seeing everywhere is embellishment on the shoes! To be honest I am not a huge fan of this trend, maybe with the right pair of shoes with a few studs but overall this trend is one I will not be partaking in...

However, as usual my favorite trend this fall is the short booties...or as the fashion world calls it the "crop"...i am beyond obsessed...& i already purchased my perfect pair...don't worry ill show you them soon...but I def recommend investing in a pair of crop booties & the best part is they have a variety to choose from!

Purses.....ahh do i love thee..so there are 2 kinds of purses I am seeing that are going to be big for Fall 2012...we've got the Satchel & the Mini Crossbody

Ok so far we've got tangerine something, dark colored pants, crop booties, a mini crossbody, some polk a dots & now lets round out the outfit with a fabulous jacket! And this season its all about leather & tweed!

So if you've noticed I don't talk much about styling accessories...its not that I don't wear jewelry its just I usually wear my staple pieces for everyday and then if I'm going somewhere it depends on what I'm wearing & ill fancy it up more with some accessories....but one trend I am seeing is 'oval' pieces, for example Tory Burch, Kate Spade & Marc by Marc all have the oval look this fall season

Okay so that's my fall forecast for this season! Just to round it up here are some fall trends I will defiantly be taking part in -

mullets & a challenge....

happy friday lovers!!!!  soooo i have a special challenge for you at the end of this post....but first things first-i
am linking up with Kori of Blonde Episodes for Fashion Friday!

 So today I wanted to show you one of my new dresses that is very trendy right now. The funniest thing about this dress is I didn't even try it on when I saw it & normally I would never ever do that, especially when shopping at a boutique.....but the dress was just so freaking cute. The colors were perfect for spring, there was so much intricate detail & it was different than anything i had seen before...i was in love. The dress is from one of my favorite stores in San Clemente,CA - the Lincoln Street Boutique...& don't worry girls their website is in the process of being made & then you'll be able to go online & purchase from their site which is aaamazing for all my blogger lovers across the states because trust me you need to shop this store!

I've talked about it before but I'll say it again, i love this store. Not only are the prices very reasonable but she really takes her time & purchases stuff that is unique. There is always something for everyone in the store. Not to mention the displays are perfect & so inviting....Mendy is the owner & she is so fabulous & trendy. Of course because I'm in the store a lot she knows me & my style so when I went in to purchase my pink pants ONLY she just had to show me this dress that was perfect for me.

Well she was right because I love it & its not like anything else I have ever worn before....so let me know what you guys think

Embarcing the mess means no washing your hair in the shower with water, dry shampoo is okay {if you must}...even if its one day no washing you are still embracing the mess! & maybe, probably there will be a prize for whoever goes the longest...
