Happy Monday Loves! Well i guess you aren't really happy its Monday...so ew Monday loves!...ok so today I have a very special girl for you to meet. So, a little bit about me… I am a twenty-three {almost twenty-four}

year old blogger living in the Mid-West, along with my husband of a

year and three months & our two pups. I have a crazy passion for

writing, reading, fashion & all things DIY. Having more free time, now

that I have graduated college, I picked up this blog of mine to share

with everyone my journey through this crazy & beautiful life.

Something fun that Kelly has asked me to do is answer a few questions

& I have to say I had fun doing it…

If you could have any super power what would it be & why?

I would have to say, being able to fly. I have always wanted to do a lot of traveling & I feel like having the ability would fly would very much help me out in that area. Oh, and of course, it would just be cool to fly in and of itself ;)

What is something we don't know about you that we should?

I can be extremely self conscious. I have a horrible time dealing with certain situations & am always second guessing myself, as well as going back through past conversations and kicking myself for either saying too much or not saying enough.

It’s your last day on earth, what do you do?

Spend it with my entire family. I am extremely lucky to have all of my family in one city so it would be a full day of nothing but family time; we all always have a blast when we are together so I don’t think I would want to spend my last day doing anything else.

Well for work Tory Burch Flats, but for everyday if its summer im either in TOMS on flipflops and if its winter UGGS or boots!

Best clothing deal you've ever gotten? (sale or amazing find)

The last great deal I got was this fabulous black poncho from Nordstrom Rack by Free People. It was originally over $150 & I got it for $50 & I wear it alllllllll the time. I love it!

Style you'd love to try?

ok this is going to sound so dumb but I don’t work out at all. Pilates yes, but that’s all. I have always wanted to be that girl with the all the cool workout clothes & cool Nike shoes that come in all the fun bright colors! That’s the look I would want to try but I would feel dumb wearing all that w/o going to the gym….

Well hey there you Messy, Dirty people.  I'm Sarah and I run the fashion blog Coming Unstitched.  It's the place where I get to force all of my nonsense and ideas on to you.  That sounds fun, right? 

Here are some quick things you should know about me:

1- I don't listen to my own fashion advice.

2- I have a strange fascinations with ninjas AND the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

3- I started blogging because I was bullied into it.

4- I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, though if it has anything to do with fashion, I'm in.

5- I lived through The Devil Wears Prada in real life but I didn't get to transform myself into a designer wearing fashionista.

6- I have a cat named Batman, who is a girl, and is also a complete jerk.  Also, she can't fly and doesn't save a lot of people.

7- I've just begun writing my own fashion column for my local paper.  You should check it out here.

8- I was recently named one of Pittsburgh's Top Fashion Bloggers.  Talk about an ego boost.

9- I'm getting married in November to a pretty awesome guy.  And we're going to Italy for our honeymoon.  Score!

10- I REALLY love meeting new people and think that is one of the best parts about blogging. So that means that you should come be my friend.  I'm so good at being friends.

How did you come up with your blog name?
Well I wanted something different & catchy but something that represented me. I go days without washing my hair, so it’s usually always messy but I embrace it, instead of hating it. I wanted a blog where I could show everyone that you can still be trendy & chic but natural at the same time. Trying to be & look perfect is never going to happen so instead of spending all your time trying to be perfect just embrace the mess. ..& so Messy.Dirty.Hair.  was born

   

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I really like meeting people from all over. It’s really cool to see how differently everyone lives in all the other states. Living in California my entire life I have never experienced another state or a way of living so through blogging it gives me a chance to do that.  And I must say I’m just lovin’ the south!

What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now can’t live without?

I always knew about photobucket but I didn’t know that photobucket will convert any picture into HTML & that’s pretty amazing!

Facebook or Twitter? and why?
Twitter because I feel you can get away with more. Everyone on facebook is just so dramatic and the slightest thing in a status or comment can cause a whole bundle of drama, plus I love tweeting to the celebrities!
