Its baaaaackkk!
If you're new & have never heard of #TheMessyProject you can check out the all the info HERE but here's just a quick little intro -
so the top that I got for this months project even I was stepping outside of the box. I usually wouldn't even look at these type of tops because I didn't think I could pull it off, plus it seems short & I have a weird thing with tops being too short. But since this is a project to step outside of your comfort zone & express your creative side I took the plunge....& omg I am obsessed! The fashion term for this type of top is called "Peplum" but I like to think of it as a cupcake! So here's the top all the girls got -
Its white & lacy & comes out towards the bottom. I decided to stay with the fanciness of the top & dress it up. Here is what I did -
I paired the top with my silky khaki color shorts. I love these shorts because they're great for those super hot days when you have to work & just wanna stay cool. They have a little shine to them as well....& the best part - there's pockets!
Then I added my sparkly pointy toed heels to give the outfit a much more dressier feel....& my hair in these pictures is a complete mess, no joke i am on day 8 here...
To complete the look I added a statement necklace. Because the top was plain I was able to dress it up with a big diamond necklace that matched perfectly with the sparkle in the shoes. I didn't want to add too much more since the main points of my outfit are the shoes & necklace so i topped it off with a gold watch .
