& we're back with 4th Edition of the MINI project! If you have yet to hear about the MINI here's a mini intro -
Well its allllllll about the mini parts of fashion - the ACCESSORIES...which can also play a huge role in our everyday outfits. Just like clothes, accessories are also worn differently by each person depending on their style, shape, look etc.
so I was super excited when I found this item. Its actually a trend that we have been seeing everywhere with literally everything, not just a fashion trend. I have in on my hair already, so why not try it on my legs.....
pink Ombré tights!!
so fun right?! I was instantly obsessed. So the first thing I did was cut off the feet to make them into leggings. I was still able to get the ombre effect even with the feet cut off.
I thought I was going to have trouble matching with this tights but it was a lot easier than I thought, which goes to show don't be scared off by something so funky - so after trying a few different outfits - I dressed them up with a grey & white striped tunic & heels.....and then I dressed them down...I decided to go with a more casual look, beach chic look ---

so you can see that cutting off the feet turned them into leggings and you still have the ombre affect. Since the tights are so bright, I wanted to make sure I dressed around the tights and didn't add another type of pattern on top of the ombre.
SO because the tights are so bright and fun it just made me feel like summer so I paired it with a simple light weight white poncho like shirt and black gladiators....plus I added a flower hippy headband to complete the look.
How would you wear the tights? Do you like them better because the feet are cut off?
NOW go & check out how the other girls styled the tights -
